I think half the rants on tumblr are in response to
made up situations* because said ranter just wanted a chance to state his or her opinion without seeming indulgent.
Take it from me kids, you can just spew off on whatever the fuck you want, whenever the fuck you want. Nobody.Cares.
*Often you know these rants because they follow a structure like "You see all these people on tumblr saying ________ but they're wrong because _______" -- only, you know you have never ever seen anyone on tumblr saying those things, AND they didn't link to that, AND (biggest give away) no one re-blogs to argue the other side!
/of my rant...or am I just responding to a made up situation...who's to say?
