Grave Dancer

The grave began filling with soil and tears as the boy went six feet under the earth. He squiggled in his coffin bed. It was cosy and spacious. The service ended and the loved ones left the tomb, some to grieve the loss and some to forget the pain. But for the little guy, the night had just begun and it was a whole new lease on life after death. As the flesh rotted and his corpse turned to skeleton, the boy kept rattling his bones and dancing to the hoots and the howls that became music to his soul.
