what fresh has told us about the new season

...doesn’t amount to much, actually, but here’s a post compiling what little information they have given - mostly it’s info on what they’re not confirming vs what they don’t know. (sources are mostly from the fresh twitter):

-they don't have a release date yet (as of 9/12); someone asked if it would come out in late 2018 and they replied “We assume but no dates have been confirmed thus far.” (x x) -they are not confirming whether it'll be a half season or full season ("No, we can't say anything.") (7/20) (x) -they know the characters but aren't confirming anyone yet. they also are not confirming whether or not chris is host (7/20) (x x) -similarly not confirming how many contestants there will be (7/4) (x) -or whether any of them will be new contestants (6/15) (x) -or whether any of them will be from RR (5/10) (x) -as of 9/12 they are still not sure when they will be able to give info on the cast (x) and they can’t say anything in the meantime (x) -no Aftermath plans (7/13) (x) -shorter theme song here to stay (7/11) (x), apparently because all opening themes for CN have to be 20 secs (7/4) (x) -when asked if they would ever make another musical season, they said “Anything is possible” (7/26) (x) -development of the new season is on schedule as of 7/20 (x) there’s also this screenshot from August that confirms recording/dubbing has begun (x)

-when someone asked the fresh twitter if the gwent vs gwuncan videos meant that gwen, trent, duncan, and courtney were coming back for the new season, the response was: "The videos we post have nothing to do with the new cast." thank god. (8/23) (x) -when someone asked "any chance of gwuncan coming back?" the response was "Technically anyone could be back" (8/23) (x) -leshawna's VA being at Fan Expo Toronto is not a confirmation that she'll be in the new season (9/11) (x)
