So I'm in another kooky situation. My opponent has a Graveborn Muse and three zombies. On my turn, i cast Spirit of the Labyritnth. Does he still lose life equal to the number of zombies he has or does the Spirit stop the whole ability? Thanks!

Spirit of the Labyrinth will prevent drawing all but one card, but Graveborn Muse’s controller will still lose the full X life.

Graveborn Muse is a highly underrated card that fits in a variety of decks. The obvious is zombie tribal. With top commanders like Gisa and Grimgrin, Muse can be sac'd at any time to avoid killing yourself. Most decks that run black can benefit from Graveborn Muse. At worst its a lower costed Bloodgift Demon. With a slight amount of zombies its draw power can be bolstered: Jarad, Vulturous Zombie, Sidisi, Rise from the Grave, Grimoire of the Dead, black decks generally run a few zombies somewhere in their build, making Graveborn profit off them.
