EEEEEEEEEEEEE one of my O. asellus girls is gravid!!!

This won't be the first batch of G1 babies in this group but this is the first time I've gotten to look at a gravid female under magnification!

Being pregnant in the first trimester is actually kind of …meh😅 Once the euphoria of finally making it settles down, it’s not that interesting. My body hasn’t really changed yet. My pants still fit (sort of). Just feeling tired all the time. August is a long time away.

When I was at the gynecologist for my 8 weeks pregnancy checkup, the first thing she asked me was «Well, do you FEEL pregnant?». I had not expected that question at all. So simple and down to earth. I immediately knew the answer was «yes» and I just blurted it out. Didn’t even have to think. She nodded very seriously, like my answer was more important than anything she could uncover by examining me❤️

Week 8 pregnancy update:

Had our first ultrasound appointment yesterday. I was so nervous, and the morning sickness (which is becoming rather bad) made me throw up before I went. I felt sick again when the cold probe went up inside me, but then the doctor was able to locate the heart beat almost immediately and all my tension went away. It was amazing! Everything looks great 💪🏻

And I have an official due date: August 27th 2025

I’m pregnant 😁🥲

Not sure if I should post this or wait, it’s only 5 weeks. But it’s finally happened!! Sorry for not being active or messaging back lately, but as some of you know it’s been a long and difficult time. And it’s a challenging time ahead. But at least now I know my machinery works haha.

I’m excited and a little scared now😅

She has a huge round belly one moment, then it’s flat and empty literally 2 sec later😮 Just one more amazing thing that happens to your body during pregnancy and birth.

If/when I give birth in the future I will look forward to this moment so much.
