#NowPlaying Tiangong by Steven Price
This is like every raw emotion you've ever experienced in 5 minutes.
Gravity - Gravity Soundtrack
im listening to the Gravity soundtrack aND IM HAVING AN EMOTION
Steven Price - Shenzhou
So I listened to a few parts of the Gravity soundtrack before seeing the movie, and it was okay; some nice parts and some more exciting parts.
However, after watching the movie the soundtrack takes on a whole new level of intensity!
Because the director was clearly attempting to hold true to the "No sound in Space" fact as much as possible, large parts of the movie contain only actor voices and the soundtrack as their audio, even during large destruction scenarios containing explosions.
So what I have found is, with the soundtrack being so integral to the experience (even more so than usual in movies), is that I can listen to the music and visualize the corresponding event in the movie, including the emotions I felt at the time; panic, tension, sorrow and joy.
It's like re-experiencing the movie in my head,
my experience while I watched Gravity was out of this world
