gravity well || hyuna + tabi
when seunghyun sees her, he thinks this is the moment he really is going to die. this is it, this is the last day he can stand on this planet. nothing has gone well for him up until this point, it's not like he's that important to the grand scheme of things. the pain of this life has been teetering on the brink for a while now, and seeing her face again at this blasted, awful party is the final nail in his coffin.
he is in the middle of a conversation with someone he'd connected with well enough at the last reunion party, but all the words this guy is saying, and all the chatter filling the room, and all the music playing in the background-- everything slows and mutes itself down to be nothing more than a murmur, one he can barely hear or understand. because suddenly she's standing there, suddenly she's in the same room as he is and within twenty feet of him and if he yelled for her, she could probably hear him.
he doesn't want to yell though, they've yelled at each other enough. she doesn't see him yet though, wandering around the room. he doesn't know what she's looking for, but he excuses himself curtly from the other and walks passed him, towards her, as though he is in some sort of trance. walking to her feels like falling through a gravity well, not something he can fight against, and by the time he reaches her, he wants to cut his own heart out. "hyuna..."
