Jong Suk’s day was busier than usual. He had spent a good amount of time in the morning at his father’s company, learning this and that and helping him with business before having a quick lunch (only because he knew he’d get scolded if he skipped it again) and heading to the clinic.
He greeted the staff who had been working that day and was informed that it hadn’t been very busy and mostly people came to buy food or pick up pets who had spent the night and with that in mind, he relieved them to take their lunches and was left alone.
Although he trusted the people he had hired to work there and volunteer there, he liked to double check on things because one could never be too sure what was going on and did his rounds, visiting the animals and spending a lot more time than he should of amongst the animals.
It wasn’t until he heard the familiar ring of the bells by the door that he hurried out of the back, pausing to wash his hands quickly before greeting whoever it was that had come in. “Hello there, what brings you in today?”
