#gravity6 #HM2018
New music!
I've found a couple of new bands in the past few days.
You Say Party! We Say Die! They're kinda this...well, they've got this alternative-pop-punk fusion dealio goin' on. Monster is my favorite track. It gives me chills. It's really simple and light, but the lyrics make it sort of heavy and dark. Rise is really good because it almost sounds like it's got different movements to it, like a punk symphony or something. Gravity6 I found them a couple of hours ago, and they're so funky! It's kinda like a neo-70's vibe type of thing. The singers voice is so soulful. Over You is a very raw and emotional break up song, but it doesn't drag and it's not particularly sad, either--it treats breaking up like it's not too big of a deal. Stop Mary, on the other hand, is super peppy, and I can just imagine psychedelic flowers floating around me when I listen to it, and I wanna go to a freaking roller derby.
Kakkmaddafakka All of my friends probably hate this band, whether they've heard them or not, just because I keep saying "Kakkmaddafakka" over again. Just say "Kakkmaddafakka" once, and you won't be able to stop. Anyway, they're kinda...out there. On one side, you have Your Girl, which is somewhere in between soothing and peppy. It's just really light and easy-going. The Joker is where things get weird. It's like...old school...jazz...whatever. I still love it, but it's a totally different direction than Your Girl.
