Let’s be more intentional in our language. Defining anyone/anything as “in between x and y” is necessarily a comparison that invalidates the someoneness/somethingness of who/what you’re describing.
As a color, gray isn’t “not quite black” or “not quite white”. It’s a spectrum of hues unto itself.
Gray-asexuality isn’t uncertain or indecisive. Gray-asexuality is radical and distinct and valid and worthy.
