I dunno, I guess the day of my fourteenth birthday? I’d just gotten into therapy, which was fantastic, and my mom took me out of school to go hang out around town. I got my first fountain pen too, which is now one of my favourite items I own.

2. How many houseplants in your room, and what kinds are they So, fun fact, I cannot for the life of me remember to water any plants without a reminder, so I don’t keep any plants in my room. I do water the other plants around the house, but only when my parents remind me lmao
Those plants are: weird tree (kind of like a palm tree, but miniature), our hoya, which is older than me, two aloe vera plants, three mystery flowers (they were originally all one plant, but at some point we took cuttings and grew two more from those) that my sister got at the end of grade two from her teacher, and one probable bromeliad, purchased on impulse from Ikea.
7. Your favourite board game Probably Small World? It’s a fun little game that we got for Christmas a few years ago, where you play as a species of mythical creatures and try not to be killed by the others!
That’s not a great picture, but I think it kind of gives you an idea of the game?
Ultimately, I’m more of a card game person. Or a DnD person. Does DnD count as a board game?

First, some backstory: Ottawa is the capital of Canada, and I am a Canadian, as is my family. We’ll come back to that, I promise.
My dad is currently learning to play the guitar, and he’s putting together a kind of “kit” for that. It includes an amplifier, lesson books, that kind of thing. One of those things is a little box that can be used to change the way that the guitar sounds. This particular one is automatic, and makes the guitar produce a “wah-wah” sort of sound.
This makes it an automatic-wah machine. An Ottawah, if you will.
