Planting Troubles || Gray and Nikida
Kida sighed while she jumped up and down on her shovel, trying to force it into the earth. She'd waited far too long to move her rose bushes, and no she was in a rush to do so before it snowed. The change in the air told her that that could happen any day now. The roses had already been dug up and all that was left was digging new holes and then of course tending to the rest of her garden before the snow fall. Most of the flowers were already taken care of, but the grass still needed to be done. The grass was the thing that she really didn't want to do. It was always a pain to deal with. The idea of dealing with the grass alone was enough to cause Nikida to feel exhausted. After spending more than half the night up with her father, Kida wanted nothing more than to take a nap. That day wasn't going to stop for her though, and the snow certainly wasn't going to hold off just because she wanted to nap. The woman forced her attention back to the job at hand, carefully she pulled the shovel back out of the ground, spraying dirt all over her in the process. Kida let out a shriek and dropped the shovel while she jumped back and brushed the dirt from her clothes. "Fuck this!" She hissed while kicking the shovel away from her, then quickly grabbing her foot to try to stop some of the pain. Note to self: Don't kick metal shovels.
