Planting Troubles || Gray and Nikida
Gray couldnât help but glance over his shoulder every so often, once he saw the woman playing with his dog. A slight grin crossed his features. Sheldon didnât give the ball to anyone but him, but he wasnât getting upset when the woman took it away. The dog liked the woman, and that was definitely⊠nice. Sheldon was usually good with people, but heâd yet to like a woman. It seemed that heâd inherited his ownerâs distrust of them. âGive me a call, if you run out next time,â he spoke absentmindedly, not aware he was making the offer as he tried to dig a large rock out from under the soil, âSheldon and I can make time.â Gray mentioned the dog just in time for him to rush to his masterâs side, butting his head into Grayâs leg before dropping the ball. Raising an eyebrow, he put down the shovel for a moment, picking it up and tossing it to Kida, âIâm not playing now,â he told the pup, âgo make new friends.â
"I'll be sure to do that." Kida tucked her hair behind her ear and blushed slightly while looking down, cursing her lack of people skills in her head. "You'll, um, have to leave me your number. If you're serious about your offer I mean. Sheldon is great help." She smiled while looking at the dog as he bounded towards the man. "Invaluable really." A grin came over her lips while she caught the ball that was thrown towards her, and watched the dog come running back to her. "Well hello again my little friend." She crouched down, starting to fight for the ball once more. "So... Besides fixing a random girl's garden, what types of things do you like doing?" Nikida inwardly cringed at her own social awkwardness and turned all her attention to the dog. "What about you Sheldon? What do you like to do in your free time?"Â
