Hi! I absolutely adore the way you write Gray and was wondering if you could write a Gray x Reader where she falls asleep on the couch in the animation department? Something like that? Thank you?

You had been working non-stop for nearly 2 daysas the deadline for the premiere of the next season of RWBY. You were livingoff energy drinks and snacks yet you could feel your eyes starting to droop.

“Hey Gray, can you watch this. Need to see ifthere’s anything I missed?” you asked, trying to stifle a yawn as you sat downnext to him on the sofa.

“Sure,” he smiled. You curled up to get comfyafter you had passed him the laptop. You watched the screen, trying toconcentrate on the content, however your eyes were so dry and heavy that youshut your eyes. You promised yourself you would open them once the noise fromyour laptop quietened.

When you did wake up, you felt the presence ofa blanket over your body. You mumbled, rubbing your eyes as the light shocked yourvision. The office was empty, apart from Gray typing away at his desktop. Heturned around once he heard movement from behind him “Hey sleeping beauty,” hesmirked.

“How long was I asleep?” you asked.

“Hours!”

“What?!” you nearly shouted, sitting upstraight.

“I’m joking! Hour and a half, you needed somesleep,” he reassured.

“Oh…thanks,” you yawned.

You wrapped the blanket around you as you wentback to sit at your desk. Within minutes, a steaming cup of coffee was in frontof you “Thank you Gray, and thanks for the blanket,” you added with a shysmile, however you couldn’t help but blush when he squeezed your shoulder inresponse.

You were in the kitchen when the power failed,plunging you into pure darkness. Working at Stage 5 meant that power failuresin the day were bad enough, however at night, they were truly terrifying aswell as being coupled with the fact that you were one of the very few left in theoffice. You fished your phone out of your pocket and turned on the flashlight,you only took a few steps when you heard noises. You automatically grabbed thebaseball bat and silently walked back towards your office, there was no way youwere taking the same risk as last time.

You continued to walk along the silent, eeriecorridor, and while you tried to calm yourself down, your heart was practicallyin your throat. Especially when someone bumped into you. You screamed and wereabout to swing the bat, however a familiar voice said “Y/N? It’s Gray!”

“Oh thank fuck!” you sighed, lowering the bat.

“You could have knocked me out!” he said.

“Sorry, but after the last power outage when wewere robbed…I can’t be too careful,” you admitted. You tried to hold back thelaughter as a result of the ridiculousness of the situation, but that wascountered when the two of you heard loud noises from behind you.

“Shall we…umm…run?” Gray whispered.

You grabbed his hand “Yes please.”

You instinctively trusted him as he led youdown the corridor and turned numerous corners until you ran into a huge space“Anyone here?” you called out.

“I know Miles is here too but he went outsideto look at the fuse box,” Gray explained when you heard similar crashingnoises.

“I’m going to hide under this desk,” you slowlysaid, crawling under the nearest desk. Your eyes had gotten used to the darkand Gray chuckled at your hiding, until the noises grew closer.

You had never seen anyone move so fast as hedropped to his knees and joined you under the desk “Can I join you?”

You were practically huddled together asfootsteps grew closer; a flashlight scanned the area, causing you to hold yourbreath. A silhouette appeared in front of the desk and you instinctively jabbedout the bat “Oww!” Miles shouted out, jumping away from the desk and holdinghis lower leg.

“Miles?” you asked, climbing out from under thedesk “I’m so sorry! We thought some burglar was in the building!”

“We?” Miles said, lowering the flashlight from youreyes.

“Hey,” Gray greeted sheepishly as he followedyou.

“How long have you two been under that desk?Never mind…I don’t want to know. Look, rats got into the fuse-box again, I calledan electrician but he won’t be able to come out until the morning,” Milesexplained “By the way, this whole story is so going into the next podcast.”

“Hey Gray,” you worked up the courage to say.

“Hmm?” he asked, looking up from his book.

“We’re sitting next to each other on thisflight…and I really don’t like flying,” you admitted.

“What you want me to hold your hand and shit?”

“And shit? Wow you should be a therapist,” youreplied dryly “Sorry, no I’m just going to try and sleep on the plane.”

“No it’s ok, I promise not to wake you upscreaming,” Gray laughed.

“Gray, you really should not be a therapist.”

You took your sleeping pills before youboarded, and by the time you were buckled in, you could feel your eyelids startto droop. You were fast asleep before the plane had even taken off.

“Hey Y/N, we’ve landed,” a familiar voicesoftly woke you up.

“Hmm?” you murmured groggily, as you slowlyopened your eyes, feeling the plane’s wheels roll across the tarmac. As youreyes fully opened, you realised where you were. Gray’s arm was wrapped aroundyou, and your head was resting against his chest “Oh crap! I’m so sorry!”

“What for?” Gray asked.

“Falling asleep on you, you could have movedme!”

“You looked far too peaceful,” he shrugged “Evenif you did drool on me a little bit.”
