its crazy how my opinion of sword and shield hinges purely on the map. i genuinely believe if galar's map was better swsh might be one of my favorite pokemon games of all time
#theres some minor gripes like the design of the end game#but overall everything else is incredibly enjoyable#great ui#great theme#amazing ost#some of my favorite pokemon designs ever#some of the best competitive pokemon ever#insanely cool legendaries#a villain that's actually different from the norm#dynamax den shiny hunting is peak#and it introduced one of the most glazed champions of all time
