“I’m surprised to see you. I thought you hated me,” Gellert admitted softly. He’d hoped to see Albus again, but he hadn’t expected to.

“Of all people, I thought you would know me best. It seems I was wrong.” There was a little layer of hurt in his voice. “I’m not a hateful person, Gellert, you know this, so I wonder what makes you think I hate you? You have simply pushed me in a position I cannot turn away from. That doesn’t mean that I hate you.” In fact, Albus still loved Gelert deep down, even if he knew this to be unwise.
