Frankie Cosmos
Finally, I can actually *see* Frankie Cosmos! After only being able to hear them on a moving streetcar, it was nice to involve one additional sense the Greta Kline-fronted band, which creates very short, very catchy pop songs that end right about the time they digs their hooks into your poor brain (a la old Guided by Voices material, right down to the lo-fi bedroom recording).
Greta seemed very insistent that nobody forget her group's name -- probably on account of the streetcar sponsor introducing them as "The Frankie Cosmos" two nights earlier.
