I love discussions about what kind of vegan is the “best” or a “real” vegan, For some people, veganism as an -ism seems to be about making a personal statement, trying to virtue-signal being “better” than someone else, including “better” than some other vegan, or “more vegan” than someone else. To me that’s a wanker’s game. We all know vegans who wear a vegan halo but they’re actually a-holes who will treat others like shit at the drop of a vegan hat because they’re sick fothermuckers. I take people based on their behavior and actions, not based on their -ism or self-congratulatory back-patting. Vegans don’t have a lock on decency. Be a decent person first, and an -ism second, if you wish. Inspired by @badassvegan #greatsermon #vegan
