A fast friend when I moved to Portland, Emily Overstreet has been a great addition to my life. She's talented and optimistic and her combination of whimsy and wisdom inspires me every single day. She's like a stubborn silly unicorn on roller skates...there's probably some risk of being speared if you cross her, but you'll be so charmed by the time it happens you'll barely notice. Then Emily will feel bad and wipe up all your blood.
In this episode of SAYD, Emily talks about her father's affair, getting married as an 18 yr old and then divorced at 25, what dolphin skin feels like, and teaches us all the proper way to react upon discovering bad news in an Applebee's. We also make a very roaring fire.
