I think the reason why I love fmab’s interpretation on greed sm is because it feels like he actually wants smth. Like throughout the story it’s clear that he’s looking for something and it’s clear that he wants something but you can’t put your finger on it until the end. Also the fact that fma acknowledges that greed loves everything which is why he doesn’t work well with the other sins (esp wrath). In order to want everything you must at least like it or love it. Combine that with the that the people who made him are trying to destroy basically everything and ofc he’s gonna betray everytime. Or else he wouldn’t be greed
