hellooooo anon and congrats on probably being my most in depth response on here after the last couple of weeks!
SC has been consistently pushing the Harry vs the boys (mainly Louis) narrative for years. It’s for a lot of reasons (denying larry, pushing Harry’s solo career, etc.), and him not being as outspoken as louis is definitely one of them.
Harry’s always been an easy target (that sounds awful when I say it like that, but… yeah), because he can be a little more anxious about speaking up sometimes, particularly in his younger years. He fumbles his words and couldn’t do a successful larry denial to save his life, still can’t, and he dances around topics rather than addressing more head on. He’s just not as sure of himself, and wants to stay out of things to not ruffle feathers. It makes it easier for him - his little subtle sly digs about this stuff, that only the fandom really notice and has plausible deniability, rather than being loud about his beliefs and calling people out on their shit.
Again, there is only so much you can do when your still standing contract says you can’t say anything shit about SC. The public unfollow from Nouis said a whole lot though, which was great. But yeah… SC says this shit about Harry because harry is the most famous, won’t say anything bad back in the public eye, and also encourages his much wider fanbase to apply for his bullshit new boyband talent show. So… mix that with harry saying he had a great time? More auditions to be his next slaves.
Jan Švankmajer's version of the Otesanek story is legit one of the most bizarre and tragic versions of an Old Fairy Tale that I have faced in my entire life.
You have a Story where a Couple really wanted to start a Family so bad with their own Child and then there's a subplot that shows their Neighbors' Child who really wants a Best Friend and it's just so tragic in my eyes to have these kinds of Sad Tropes between Two Different Families combined in One Story.
Just ouch, my heart really pierced through the moral ;(
