Happy Pride Month to All of My Fellow Yaoi/Yuri Shippers!
I Know I've Kept Posting some KOG Content but This is Something I'd Really Like to Share One of My Opinions (Loosely) Based on My Third KOG Post.
Given The Majority That "Knights of Guinevere" is a Satire of What Companies are Usually like Outside of The Art, I Love How Guinevere is Not Only a Mashup of Both Mickey and Disney Princesses Combined, But How She has a Fairytale Aesthetic in Her as Gwen feels like a Pure Snow White.
It's Obvious that Dana Who Used to Work at Disney and Her Crew Knew What They were Doing Considering on How That Most of Disney's Movies are Adaptations of Fairytales and Classic Literature and That Disney's Aesthetic has Been Folklore ever since (Until Bob Iger & His Henchmen Ruined It with Butchered Versions of These Stories).
I'd Also Wanna Point Out on How That Gwen's Princess Dress looks like a Modern Mashup Between The First Disney Princesses (Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora/Briar Rose).
This and "Bye Sweet Carole" are One of My Justifications on Why Me and My Friend call This Year; "The Year of Dark Fairytales besides than Alien Invasion Movies."
Not only is it Because That's a Satire of The Walt Disney Company (24 Years After Dreamworks' "Shrek") but How It's Also a Love Letter to The Disney Animated Movies (Especially The Animators Who Their Jobs were Treated Poorly No Thanks to The Shitty People that being the CEO) AND Drawn to Most Fairytales/Folktales from Many Cultures (Even Using The European Ones as Its Main Direct like Most Fairytale-Esque Media).
Basically, if You Stripe The Satirization Beside like You Do with Shrek also Being a Modern Fairytale Crossover, It's a Modern Fairytale Horror.
