#up here#hulu's up here#mae whitman#carlos valdes#lindsay arthur#miguel jimenez#miguel x lindsay#my screencaps#the colors are not flattering and the lighting is a nightmare to work around#and i didn't think this would be an interesting number to screencap#turns out i had so much fun#these two grinches#lindsay looks so tiny throughout the number#next to the tree on her chair between her parents#it's like she's being squished by christmas#but she's fighting back with her sass and bitterness#there's also a part at the dinner table where miguel's literally fighting with his napkin#i had to pause the screencaping to laugh#at him yes#it's not how the grinch stole christmas here#it's how christmas squished the grinches and they punched it in the face#lindsay could write a book about it at some point#and miguel would draw them both#green and grumpy#but tiny with huge christmas sweaters that trail on the floor behind them#and with the weirdest families of voices#i'd read it#there's something very love actually there#or maybe it's just that i associate anything with good songs and christmas to that movie#it's a compliment
