I remembered MLP and one particular character that I’ve been keen to draw. A unicorn with a painted horse pattern (which is pretty unique for a series that mostly consists of character with solid colours) named Gaffer that appeared in the IDW comics. Part of of Shining Armour’s grub of geek friends from high-school. I decided to use this as a way for me to experiment with my own way of drawing the MLPs. I like to have a balance of cartoony style and semi-realism. Granted I’m not as pleased with it as I thought I could be. But I thought I should still upload it. Something to look back on for progress sake.

When boredom hits and you try to be a decent artist but your not so you draw, what's supposed to be a magical, earthy unicorn but it looks more like a wolf(?) And you don't know what to think anymore..... That's... Just how I see this. 😅

Based off that stained glass window in the Discord arc of Luna and Celestia fighting Discord.  JBK made the joke and I couldn't resist.  :P
