Season 1 Episode 13: Investigative Journalism

Allow me to digress from my established formula for a minute to talk about the costume decisions for this episode. This episode takes place over four days, I believe? So day one Abed’s wearing this flannel, fine. On day two he’s wearing this shirt and sweater combo, fine. Then day three, he’s wearing just a green t-shirt. I think y’all know how I feel about Abed just wearing a t-shirt (no likey!). But then! In the final non-tag scene of the episode, which is presumably a different day, since Jeff is wearing a completely different outfit, Abed is wearing the same shirt as yesterday with the cardigan he wore two days before? Is this some sort of bizarre attempt to portray the laziness of a college student who can’t be bothered to change his clothes (I guess I can’t judge too harshly, considering how I have worn the same oversized green plaid flannel every day for the past week), or was the costume department just really confused this week?

Anyway, back to your scheduled ratings.
