14. What is something you really like about your work(s)?

Is it facetious to say that they're good? XD More accurately, what I write I write more or less just for me, so almost everything (bar what I may write on request for events or such) is very specifically what I wanted out of a story or trope and either didn't find, or didn't find to a level that I enjoyed.

For example, A Bark Worse than His Bite was created out of a need for a JayDick story that would be exactly what I want out of JayDick: Two extremely competent men who are also in their own ways kind of disasters, navigating an extremely fraught relationship, slowly coming to the realization that the other is not as put together as they seem, without any sacrifice of one or the both of them being made 'lesser' to fit together, with some identity porn thrown in because that's usually a lot of fun.

I find that Dick is very often (imo) reduced to a one or two note characterization that doesn't allow him to be both as insanely hypercompetent as he is, and as flawed. Dick is a whole, rounded character with flaws as deep as his good points, and I don't see nearly enough of that in fanfic so my own work is often where I turn to get it.

22. What is one of your favorite tropes to write?

Mm, they're both AUs more than tropes, imo, but Omegaverse and Mirror!verse are the easy answers. There's a lot to fuck around with there in terms of worldbuilding so I enjoy poking at it.

On a more strictly-trope level, I'm a sucker for good identity porn. It's kinda difficult to pull off satisfactorily, but it's a lot of fun if you can get a good story plotted out.

im actually a big fan of most colors, i think the only ones that give me the ick are probably the pukey toned greens and browns? but only the ones that look kinda pukey lmaooo

im also not fond of white, but thats more cause it boring than cause its icky

18. your boba/tea order?

i actually dont like tea (at least not any of the ones i've tried) and i dont like the texture of the tapioca balls in boba either- tho i have had some rly neat oreo drinks from boba shops (without the boba lol)

basically if you can put enough chocolate in it, ill try it lol

Fun, character-driven, intimate

(Character-driven still only counts as one, right?)

"Is it fun" is foundational, because I write my fanfiction for Me First, and if I'm not having fun, then what's the point lol. I have the most fun when I'm deep in a character's head - I love examining how someone thinks and feels and reacts to a situation first and foremost, and the closer we are to them the better!

Turning this around on you or anyone reading, how would YOU describe my writing? I'm always curious to see what people think!

3. how you feel about your current WIP

a little frustrated 'cause i'm kind of stuck, but i think that's just because i've been kind of preoccupied with IRL stuff. here's hoping that now i have a li'l more time to focus haha

answered here! i've also been thinking a lot about... i'm not sure what the name for the trope would be, but like. honeypot missions where the person taking the mission ends up falling for their target xD

"Stealing," Jason idly remarks, "is very wrong. Which is why you should never get caught."

Tim glares at his boyfriend. "You're a bad role model."

"If anyone here is a bad role model, it's the Batmunchkin," Jason grumbles. "He's the one who stole candy from a baby and got himself cursed."

"He thought it was drugged—he just wanted to run some tests!"

"Still shoulda asked first."

G2. Something you want to write but haven’t yet.

Soooo many things. I think one of the biggest is the jaytim noir au. It's sadly all vibes no plot, with private eye Tim and femme fatale-esque Jason. (Well... okay. There's some plot, but not as much as I would like or need to write it, haha.)

Another one is the BruJay monster hunter x monster fic I'm planning, hehehe. It still has a ways to go before it's ready for writing either but I'm excited about it lmao

G5. Is there a specific AU you’d like to write but haven’t yet?

A few! I would love to write a fantasy AU--I do have a not-fic that's a fantasy AU, but I want to actually write one. I would also like to write a BDSM Dynamics AU... A Mer AU... Or, well. I actually have a few mer AUs but none of them are finished, lmao.
