From a greenapple perspective, the fact that Harlequin wants to steal Pierrot's lovers, It may be due to the fact that he cannot bear to see Pierrot with anyone other than himself; And Pierrot doesn't reciprocate, so it's easier to separate them from Pierrot's lover's side. And he's resentful because Pierrot doesn't like him, so he enjoys making his life difficult, that's how Harlequin gets even with him.

And if Pierrot doesn't love him, at least he wants his hatred; he doesn't care as long as he has his attention.

My Harlequin human AU “OC” (not technically og since he’s an alternate universe version of a preexisting character, but close enough lol), Hendrix!

In my AU, Harlequin from TFC suddenly turned human before the events of Day 1 (after eating one of the weird circus vendor meat kebabs), and he’s unable to convey this change to the others, blocked by a voice barrier. Due to a series of misunderstandings and unfortunate events, Harlequin, now “Hendrix”, ends up working at the coffee shop instead of MC, breaking the timeline.

When he sees Pierrot on the ground under ridicule of the townspeople, his first instinct is to shoo them away just so Pierrot can continue his job of handing out fliers. Then, when the townspeople leave, he’s ready to taunt Pierrot as he normally does.

But instead of hatred, he sees something else in Pierrot’s eyes. Hearts, all because the red clown doesn’t recognize him as Harlequin, but “Hendrix”, the human who protected Pierrot from harm.

Oh, shit.
