fellow multishipper! Hi!! Are you into any polyships and if so what are your faves?

I AM! asking me my favs is so hard though and I honestly do not know a lot of the poly ship names.

A lot of times my thoughts are character has two hands but the two whose hands they are holding are not holding hands. I end up liking a lot of poly chains, but I’ve got a few main poly ships I adore. Also these are not ever exclusive I am pretty open to most ships as well as poly ships, the only ones I really don’t vibe with currently are any with Patton and Remus together. I put some dynamic break downs under the cut but here is my poly ship chart and then a non poly ship chart for ya 🥰

have you ever had that weird fandom experience of having a fave character who isn't a part of ur fave dynamic? Like for example I love Virgil's character but everything I write is all Creativitwins focused bc their dynamic fascinates me. Has this ever happened to you?

It kinda depends? the dynamics i find it easiest to write jokes for, which is basically all i make (even if the joke is sometimes cruel), is often not the stuff i enjoy seeing the most in canon. Ive definitely had a looot of characters whom Ive loved every time theyre 'on-screen', that I nonetheless never/rarely made fanworks with - Melanie, Basira and Elias tma immediately spring to mind, for example

But if you're asking about the top spot, #1, absolute favorite character? then they usually are part of that 'easy' dynamic. can't really think of a fandom ive been in where that wasn't the case, even if the #2 or #3 can be outside of it

#to the extent that i even rank my favs. with sasi its 1-logan 2-everyone else 3-remus #im a simple woman. i usually just like one of the main characters best #exposure is the way to living rent-free in my brain and thus to making your way into fanworks and thus to fav-dom #exposure. a (slightly) archetypical character. and at least one other fun character to bounce off of #also why i basically never get into movie fandoms. too little time with spent with the characters - my mental model of them #has too many holes to just set them up and watch them go #i CAN write characters by actually doing the analysis and consciously thinking about their speech and behaviour patterns #(see: janus)#just takes more work. and they dont often just pop in randomly to make a stupid joke. which. once again. is most of what i do #if only i could figure out a way to make that dynamic happen for my OCs id be unstoppable #my favorite kids author always wrote in his foreword that the main character just popped into his mind and begged to be written again #never got that as a kid. but i get it now with fan stuff #these tags have gotten away from the point. srry greenestcubes #ask #greenestcubes #gammi yaps #sasi
