A must watch: Frontera Verde or Green Frontier!! You’ll probably skip over this one if you’re not a fluent Spanish speaker...but please don’t. It’s a Colombian limited series on Netflix - translation: be prepared for fast-moving subtitles, but it’s so worth it. It’s a new suspense drama set in Amazonia and OMG!!! It’s soooo good!!! The cinematography and writing is stellar!!! Its part murder-mystery and the other part dives deeply into the supernatural and mysticism of the Amazon. After the shock of the fires this week, is it coincidence that #Netflix recently premiered this series? Either way, there is a huge and much needed collective reminder to tap in..to do something...anything to take better care of the planet. It’s heart wrenching to know governments are still threatening indigenous life, and that deforestation and capitalism outweigh BREATHING!!! We know the trees help provide oxygen, but this series reminds the audience of the mysteries of the forest and why the preservation of sacred lands are so vital to all of our survival. Most of all it reminds me that we must stay connected to Source!! So, yeah I’m going in about a Netflix series bc Art is supposed to summon us.. it might just trigger or inspire you in some way.
