She simply had been walking around, seeking for a shop to buy some more arrows since she was running low on them. The last thing she expected to see was this, yet she couldn’t help and chuckle a bit about it. This girl apparently cares a lot about animals. 

“Maybe we can get it down with some food? I just don’t know where we can get it, but it’s worth a try” Natascha looked up to the Cucco sitting on the blonde’s head. It didn’t seem like it was going to move anytime soon and she could just imagine how the other had tried to get it down from her head.

   “Oh come on, now. Don’t be shy. It’s just a waterfall.” A big waterfall. Mipha underestimates the survival of a Hylian jumping from this height. She was sure that Linkle will survive it. Just like she has, “It could appear intimidating at first. But, it’s easy to overcome.”

While his training with the order focused on the blade, a lot of his experience when it came to combat and battles came from the city and back alleys. A place where things were far more unscrupulous and wild compared to the order and formality of the strikes fighting as a knight among their fellow brethren. There’s also the matter of lots of bar fights brought about by his lecherous behavior and propensity for mischief giving him quick reflexes and a good idea of how a fist can fly. Moments like those lend themselves well to a sparring match with the self-proclaimed heroine of Hyrule...

...One who telegraphs much like a dog when you wave a bone in front of their face.

A nimble sidestep sees that the swordsman evades the rushing blow and renders it a harmless strike at the space where he just stood. It also affords him the position to flip the young woman over her feet once an ankle was caught with his boot. That, along with a soft strike to her back may or may not send her flying onto her face.

“You know how hard it is not making a joke about you falling for me right now?” He remarks, hopping back on his feet a couple steps. Keeping limber. Keeping ready. A hand gestures in a challenging matter, fingers curling towards himself. “You’ve still got nice moves but unless you hit me with them we might as well be dancing. Approach and then strike. You can’t just run at your opponent.”

Being on land while being able to smell the ocean, much less see the sea was rather surreal. And quite obviously, many things escaped his grasp because they simply made no sense.

Why have a sign that says ‘Road work ahead’? It felt like it would be obvious since they were walking down the road and it didn’t look dangerous to tread on. Link had hoped that his new companion would be able to explain somethings about the place (but it sometimes it felt as if she was as clueless as he was). 

Frowning, Link leaned over to look down at the map. Maybe they had taken a wrong turn? However, he was much more apt when it came to navigating the sea than transversing land. 

“Do you think we should turn back?” He asked as he looked around, studying for land marks that matched up with her map; But when it came down to it, the young hero had no idea what he was doing.

Linkle’s face froze for a moment. Her eyes traveled to the boy who walked in on her. She washed up at the spring not too far from her home and village, still a little wet but dried off for the most part. Her cheeks began to glow a bright red. After all, she had only just now put on her underwear. If he came a few minutes earlier, he might have gotten an eyeful… How embarrassing!

         “ Ah! I’m sorry, I’m not very decent right now! I didn’t know anyone else wanted to use the spring! Oh no oh no where did I put that tunic- a hero should never be this indecent to the public!”

He didn’t expect to see someone here, this was a secret spot! His cheeks flushing a deep red. Turning away, he averting his eyes and pointing directly to the water. That’s all he wanted, he wasn’t creeping on her. He was very sorry, he just wanted to wash up, eat and relax in peace. Link had been walking around all day and he was weary.
