    her words sting like a dagger in his heart. he has the exact same fear, too, losing her. he doesn’t know what the future will hold for them, after they defeat zarkon and free the rest of the planets.    he had planned to search for his family, or whatever was left of his family... and maybe he could help her along the way... they could look together, for the sake of having someone who knows what it’s like to have people you love go missing and spending so much time looking for them.    ❛ p- ❜ he stops himself, wanting to address her correctly. ❛ katie... you won’t lose me.. you will never lose me. i’ll be here, by your side, for as long as you want me.. ❜    cupping her face, he draws in a breath and then places a light, feathery kiss to the young girl’s forehead.

Shiro enjoyed watching Pidge tinker with things. She was always busy with something. Usually little drones and the likes. So much like her brother. The black paladin moved up to sit down beside her. “Hey Pidge!”

    he sighs in defeat, crossing his arms over his chest and looking away from her. what does she mean by ‘need time to think about us’? sure, they weren’t the most functional couple in the group, but they worked out just fine. what is there to think about?    ❛ okay, and...? ❜    he doesn’t know what else to say. i mean, what can you say when your partner says something like that? not that much, if you ask him, so he waits for an explanation from her.

“Sorry, I couldn't hear you over my internal monologue." She said as she was still a pow. But given lab as she had told them she would try to see it from a different side. Yet still trying to find a way to escape. If she wasn’t with the others. Voltron. Couldn’t form.that or her brother took up the mantle with Lila. (The. Name she gave the green lion.) she was about to continue when she heard her guard say all quiet. She gulped. Turning to see lotor. “You’re back from your trip.”her eyes widened when she saw a yellow helmet in his hand. Hunk. No. She thought. Not knowing the other was alive it was being used as leverage. And the other was safely back on the ship. It was found after the battle.

Lotor would toss the helmet into the cell. "I believe your friend lost something." It was vague enough to try and make her think he was gone. Not outright saying things could be worse. "If it makes you feel better he was a true warrior. Laid down covering fire for the rest to flee." He would let her mind run wild with this.

"Pidge, we just got you back from Lotor. You got hurt during our escape. You didn't have the suit to protect you either." He pointed to the bandages on her arm with that. "I know you're probably going to go crazy having to stay on the ship. But you need to rest to let your body heal."

"They're exhausted. These men are exhausted. You've pushed them too hard. I said I would go with you willing to save my friend as you promised they wouldn't get hurt!" She said struggling as she said to lotor as she had her hands behind her. She saw Matt get shot in the chest being absorbed mostly by the suit but she played along “MATT”she knew it was just in the arm. But still. He was her brother. “I won’t Honor your deal.” She said as she had managed to unhinge the locks on the restraints and grabbed the man’s knife that had been leading her up to lotor and she knocked him out and grabbed his phaser aiming the gun towards lotor. “I won’t go willing—“ she felt a sharp impact on her head as she fainted. Pink handed the phaser to lotor. “Here you are sir. What should we do with her. And the weakling of a subordinate?”she asked unceremoniously dragging Katie behind her up the ramp to lotor.

Lotor had been in the middle of communicating with their leader Shiro when the intruder alarm had sounded, and not long after he had found himself at the wrong end of a phaser before she was knocked unconscious. Her brother was on the ground. Despite the shot it seemed his suit had absorbed most of the energy. Still, he now had two injured prisoners, and one had a history of getting loose.

"Place them both in a cell across from each other. My patience has worn out for the girl so she won't be receiving anymore hospitality. She escapes again do whatever it takes to subdue her. Even if it means taking a limb or two."

Matt felt like he had been shot. Which he had been, but it didn't hurt any less. He had the vague impression of being dragged somewhere before being knocked unconscious. When he woke up he saw his sister in a cell across from him.
