Michael sleeps better with Isagi beside him, to his own ruinous end.
Michael wakes with a weight across his chest and reaches instinctively for the knife. On the second breath, he crashes fully into his body, and realizes two things: firstly, that he is not back in his father’s apartment, so there is no switchblade tucked between the mattress and bed frame, and secondly, that the weight is Isagi Yoichi.

Yoichi grapples with the fallout of spooning his archnemesis, to an unexpected new beginning.
Yoichi wakes with a weight against his back and assumes Kurona got too cold in his own bed. On the second breath, his awareness spreads beyond himself, and he realizes two things: firstly, that even in the dark this room isn’t shaped right, that the shadowed outlines don’t align with the beds and cubbies that populate his Blue Lock dorm, and secondly, that the weight is Michael Kaiser.

Sae knows to say no to drugs. Kaiser himself is another story.
The breeze off the lake slips through his sweater, the chill nipping at his edges. He folds his arms across his chest, hands tucked against his sides, and scowls darkly at the skyline. He’s too busy outlining a plan to book his own hotel room — Beatriz can’t object if he pays with his own money, right? — to notice the boy in the corner.
Until he opens his mouth.
“Well,“ drawls a rough, accented voice, “if it isn’t the little prinz.”

Wanderer struggles under the shadow of a past no one remembers. Then, a certain swordsman invites him to tea.
Red eyes, vivid as molten steel. That distinctive crimson swoop of hair, curling feather-like from the crown of his head. The man is young, strong, with the build of a warrior. He’s only half-dressed in a pale yukata, the top half of his haori folded down around his waist, but Wanderer can still discern the maple leaf pattern beloved of a certain clan who once forged the finest blades in Inazuma. That once begged him — but not him —
He stands face to face with the last remaining Kaedehara, and the ground falls out from under him.

In the unstable aftermath of U-20, Rin gets lost. Meguru brings him back.
Isagi was brilliant, he always is. Meguru didn’t need to see the final goal to feel the impact of the ball into the net like a punch to his own gut. But equally strong was the fist around his lungs, stealing his air, at the sight of Blue Lock’s other monster, looking at his brother like the world ended —
“Are you crashing?”
“Not yet,” Meguru sighs. He doesn’t have to explain himself. Chigiri looks at him and Meguru sees the moment his gaze flicks to the far wall of the locker room, the lone bench where a dark vortex seems to push away all the noise and light and laughter. An unspoken boundary no one with any sense of self preservation would dare cross.
Meguru doesn’t have to look to know exactly who sits there. And he’s never been good at boundaries.
