Gladys had been treating herself to a few drinks here and there ever since her arrival at the Cattermole house for the party. The place was bustling and it felt like all of Hogwarts was here and it was comforting in a way. After being in a big empty castle it was nice to be so close to everyone. Literally.
“Greer! You’re here!” she called out, when she spotted the girl, quickly making her way over, pushing through the crowd as best as she could. “I just-I just wanted to say sorry for all those howlers.” her words slurred slightly as she rested her hand on Greers shoulder both for comfort as well as balance. “I shouldn’t have yelled at you, you’re not mad at me right?”
