holy shut schools almost over for me- THREE DAYS BRUH THREE DAYS- the whole staff at school is all pissy because of the senior prank (some seniors got ahold of the mic to make annoucments all over school and played pornographic stuff it was hilarious) and they even got a NEW sound system so kids could never do it again. god bless my school. aNYWAY how about big fluffy tailed ivypool who smacks people in the face with it when a cat talks smack about her familia.
I’m glad schools almost finished and also thats hilarious. Both the prank and the view of Ivypool like smacking the Dovewing haters in the face with her tail. Whitewing tries to bring up some embarassing moment from her kit hood and Ivypool just gently shoves her tail over her mouth “shhhhh”

Thank you so much! I’m happy that you were so excited to read the epilogue! And thanks for the kind words, they really mean a lot to me. “Bye, Wirt.” is okay though. It’s not goodbye forever, or even for very long. They’ll be okay <3
idk I love beast AUs but I think one of the more painful ones are variations of Beast!Greg AUs. Because- there's light. it's a white light, it's a brilliant, high beam light and it's hurting his eyes horribly. Wirt's lashes flutter once, twice, and then he's trying to gather his bearings. There is a bunch of muffled noise, a bunch of people (doctors?) and they're saying things he doesn't listen to. his one thought is "Greg? Where's Greg?" it takes a moment to realize his brother isn't there.
((Sorry If they are slightly ooc))
There is a light, a massive light. Dancing above him, for a moment he winces. Voices, male, female, none he had heard before. None he took comfort it. The voices became more central. The light could now fad, it was white. White walls all around him, cold air on his face, he felt sick to his stomach. He bet Greg felt the same, because if he was correct, he-no they, were in the hospital.
He waited, there was something on his arm. He was in a hospital gown and he started to move. All of his limps were aching, after all he had been through in the unknown, this didn’t surprise him. “Gr-greg…” He mouthed, his throat was terribly dry.
His breathes were not normal, he had to strain to get them out. His throat ached, it was sore and dry. He felt a hand grab his arm. He turned, a woman in white looked at him with concern in her eyes. “Please I not recommend you get up.”
"I-…" He sputtered. "What h-happened…." His eyes were bloodshot. The nurse’s expression tightened.
"You…You almost drowned. Please get back to resting, the doctor has not allowed you to get up yet."
"But-…Where’s Greg?"
"Greg?" The nurse asked with confusion and concern.
"Yeah. My brother! Greg." The nurse went silent. Wirt cringed.
The nurse finally replied. “I do not know. I was told to watch you, I don’t know where he is…”
"let me speak to a doctor.."
"You need to sleep. I will assess this with doctor Kilg as soon as you are rested, then I will tell you when you awake."
"No. I need to know now!"
"I can’t."
"Please, can you at least check!?" His throat was itching bad. He held back a small cough.
The nurse stopped. “Oh moment.” She turned away, walking over to a man in a white coat. Wirt assumed he was the doctor.
They spoke for a matter of minutes, each second created a new face from both nurse and doctor. Wirt counted them, stoic, confusion, ponder…The doctors face lowered, he told the nurse something. Though Wirt couldn’t hear it, it felt like poison sludging down his throat.
No. No. No..”No…no…”
Both the doctor and nurse were now very worried, that worried leeched on to Wirt. Sucking up all the hope left in him. He was pale, shaking his head until it started to pound. He hacked into his arm, a small cough that soon felt painful. Shooting all over his body, he couldn’t close his mouth, the coughing turning violent.
He had to keep watching, make sure it wasn’t true. Greg, no he wasn’t. He couldn’t be, they must just not know, or talking about something else. The pain made him double over, cursing at himself over not being able to see the doctors anymore. He clenched his chest.
Soon, but slowly, the sickly coughing died out. His cheeks felt wet, he could barely breath. Each breath was shaky, sharp, fast, over and over, it didn’t slow. He didn’t slow, he was quaking on the bed. Nurses now trying to calm him, telling him calming words.
He could hear nothing, his whole body felt wet. He was alone…Greg…Their faces…Greg…He wasn’t okay. He..He remembered his brothers last words, “Goodbye Wirt.” They echoed in his head over and over… ”Greg…” He choked out, he was sobbing, terrible shaking sobs. His hands clenching his shoulders, scratching at them.
"Greg…" He muttered again. Now a large number of nurse were all around him, his was burning. He was thousands of degrees at once, he was melting right in front of them. He couldn’t calm, not until he saw Greg. He couldn’t be dead. He couldn’t, he promised, he couldn’t of went with him. It wasn’t real, none of it was real.
Enoch, The Beast, The Woodsman, Beatrice… None of it. He was just sleeping, he would wake up and hug his brother tight. He would say he loved him, and mean it. He would make him breakfast, and take him to school. Walk him back, go frog hunting, everything. He promised. He learned his lesson, he was sorry…
Was it normal for a heart to beat this fast? He was just worried, but it felt like so much more. Everything was so much more. He wanted to wake up, he wanted it all to be over. He was struck by a pin. Sharp and fast, before he knew it. He was calming, he was tired…
He drifted off to sleep, his heart rate calmed. All of his senses seeming to clear, the sweat stained the pillow, and tears still left his eyes.
None of this was real, Greg would wake up soon. He would come wake Wirt up, ask why he was crying, Wirt would just tell him not to worry about it. He would take Greg downstairs, talk to him, help him get ready. He would be the brother he promised to be, the brother Greg needed. He had too, that was what it all meant. To learn, that was the moral wasn’t it?
So why was he still so cold, so sick to his stomach. Why did he see it all so clearly? Was that the point, what the dream really meant! He found out, so why didn’t he feel fulfilled. Why doesn’t it feel over…
He slept with those thoughts, questions pilled. Soon his thoughts were gone, he went blank. He was sound asleep.
He awake, his breath felt better, he opened his eyes. It was the same bright light. He threw himself up, instant regret. He was rushed to the feeling of dizziness, swaying around to keep balance. He held his head, that weird needle or whatever still on his arm.
He stopped, the swaying slowed. He felt control of his body, moving his head to test. He was clear.
The needle or thing tightened. He bite down on his lip, the urge to rip it out filling him. Or maybe tell the doctors to loosen it. Maybe the cord was just tided.
His vision drifted toward it. The long, thick, brown tube wound up tight to his arm.
A branch…An edelwood branch.
Now. It all made sense to Wirt, every moment clicked in his hand in rhythm. Total silence, tears drifting out of his eyes. It was all his fault, Greg would never wake up. He would never be able too, and it was all HIS fault. He killed him, he failed. All emotions beat on Wirt, a long trailing silence went on. Until, he truly shattered.
As for the doctors, all that could be heard from that room was a loud hacking sob, harsh and constant. The doctors could not do anything, they knew. Wirt knew, and well. If they were in that spot.
