When I saw that Six's real name was Courtland, I literally screamed, because it sounds so similar to the twins' names. So, HC:

When the twins were born, Court named them –because their father, well, you know, and their mother died in childbirth because that's how it goes– So he decided to give each of them a part of his name, so he could always be with them, even when he was far away.

The first part went to the older one, and he decided that Colt was different enough and similar at the same time, plus it sounded cool. The second part went to the younger one. He always liked the name Ray, and Ryland sounded so unique that it was perfect.

At that moment, Court didn't know that their names would be the only thing that connected them years later, when even their last names had differents.

All the coltlandgentry people need to get more into the coltgentry stuff. Like both Fall Guy and Grey Man are such bangers and Grey Man has a 15 book series that's getting another update next year (Greaney pumps out a new book for this series every single year it's amazing).

And also Colt and Jody are so freaking amazing I love them and their femdom x stray dog relationship. But there's like no fics just about them or crossover fics with more focus on them. I need y'all to get on my level and start making more content about Colt struggling with chronic pain and his girlfriend that he's obsessed with slowly getting him to open up about it by taking advantage of how down bad he is for her (and also domming his fem if you catch my drift)

And movie!Court is also very Ace-coded! He adopts a kid and has no romantic interests. I'm only in the middle of book 1, but it's heavily implied via mentions of them only being able to find wind of him via his work (bc he isn't getting caught dead romancing any man or woman) and the only mentions of his physical appearance so far are that he has a beard and "looks like a f**"
