Grey squirrels grooming each other in Sefton Park, Liverpool, UK. The species, an invader from North America, has long out-competed the UK’s native red squirrels, and this week scientists identified another reason why: the greys’ gut bacteria is more diverse than the reds’, giving them access to a broader diet.

Today, I shall become an expert in grey squirrels.
There were 3 of these kiddos on my porch! They are pretty young, I like to think of them as teenagers lol. They kept trying to chase each other away, I guess they don’t like to share.
And I finally learned how to zoom on my tablet, lol.
