Grey has never avoided Tuck the way he has for the past week. He knows its impossible to do it until he feels better, less ashamed but he can’t help it. He doesn’t want Tuck to see him like this. The black eye he’s actually covered with makeup when Tuck’s awake and at home where he can’t avoid him too well. It was easier when he was still working with that politician late at night earlier in the week. He thought that the other would be gone all night again and he’s all wide eyes and a look of horror as he sees Tuck looking at him, black eye uncovered. He has a sweater on over a long sleeved shirt. Jeans still on from the day. He’s wearing layers like he’s hiding something because he is.
And he wants to run for it but the dominant is in the bedroom doorway, leaving the access outside impossible. If he could get past him he could run, he’s good at running. Running and hiding that is. Its still fresh in his mind the day they met, after he got away from his last dominant. The look on Tuck’s face as a politician introduced them, his eye still dark from fighting the dominant in his escape. Now that he knows how he can be, his possessive streak he can’t even start to picture how bad it could blow up now. Grey’s mind freezes, unsure what to say because he’s done good up to this point avoiding Tuck. It's fight or flight and in an instant he’s darting to the bathroom to hide himself from Tuck.
