Heather Grey or Heather Gray? I never know which one is correct.

Perhaps I will make another and call it heather gray; then I can give equal representation to both variations in spelling.

Grey Toque - Mother's Day Gift

So I was right, the grey toque I knitted for my Mom did eat her head and a third of her face.  If you fold it in half, it makes two toques.

When a friend of mine looked it over, took out her measuring tape and did some calculations (math, why'd it have to be math?) she said I should've cast on 60 stitches instead of 88.

Whoops.

So I am attempting another grey toque, why grey you may ask.  Because my Mom wants a grey toque.  That's why.

The needles I'm using are a little smaller and the yarn is a little smaller as well.  No more chunky yarn for toques for me.  It was a pain in the hands doing the very last decrease and then threading the yarn through the stitches at the top.

No more!
