Everyone on this show is so damn mean to Christina god strike these white devils DOWN
I am ever more the fool. The nightmares grew on me like a shroud, burdening and fogging my mind. How exhausted I felt, and frustrated with myself. I desired to prove my strength, for nothing I had done yet showed just my worth of being amongst the mighty and the intelligent. I was so tired, Silivren forgive me. So I took that wretched vial and drank its contents.
Aurael watches me now, while I write this. He is pleasant company, but the strength that the ichor had granted me passed and now I feel close to passing into some fit of illness. I am hot and cold at once, and my skin sweats even without the presence of the fire. Yet it is not quite a fever, for no infection is within me. Elune’s light has no effect.
I regret drinking it. I was brash, but more than that, I was sad. I let the darkness’ siren song sound too sweetly. I wanted to know what was within it, what lay at its end. I wanted to explore the shadows normally so elusive to a priest of my paths. I wanted, at my core, to perhaps die in the name of bettering the world. Let me be a martyr I thought when I drank it. Let my sorrows finally end, and the nightmares of dear sister and mother and father finally be at rest. I felt like I had failed once too many, and that I had but diminish in order to grant the way of the other, younger peoples to be great.
They worried. How guilty I felt at that. Or, how guilty I feel now. At that moment I did not. I loathed, and hated, and nothing seemed to satisfy me. I did not like to be looked at, or spoken to, or to be in my very own skin. I wanted to crawl out of it, to hit those who spoke truths in front of me. It wasn’t a feral anger, which I am accustomed to, but it was something that twisted and coiled like the ropes of a Naga’s whip. I feel so very badly for the things I said, and did, and how poorly I acted. Elune’s wisdom is of patience, and temperance, and I displayed none of the training Shan’do had taught me. I wish I had but stopped and breathed, and listened. I am wracked with guilt, and illness, for my own folly. Everything I represent was given disservice.
That faceless Demon Hunter has it wrong. I am actually quite fond of him. Painfully, I see quite a lot of myself in him. Practical and judgemental, and bearing so much more than he needs to upon his back. I acted out of spite, perhaps not within my own influence, but I still desire to see it made amends.
Crow, Aleyna, Paion - they shall think of me as reckless now, I am afraid. Or stupid. I do not blame them, but this was not my idea for when I had joined them. I wished to be a healer. Quiet and strong and able to support their gatherings, not leading them right along into danger. I had my reasons, indeed, but I should have listened to their words closer. They know just as well as I do how dangerous magic is. Why it should be considered skeptically before experimentally. I will need prove to them I am reliable once more. I strive not to injure our gathering.
The Druid. She is like an arrow - piercing the matter right in its heart. Quiet and waiting until she needs to fly. If I am entirely honest, she is too much. I am weak to hear her laugh, to see someone so wild once again. There is nothing that says she should ever see me and be impressed, not after tonight or ever again, and this brings me shame. We had not spoken but a word to each other. Still, the idea that she thinks poorly of me is of some sway. I should not be so childish in my loyalty. I do not know this woman. Yet I am.
There was a dead man. Not a Risen, but one of the Lich King’s own. He seemed kind. Genuinely worried, awkward maybe. I wish to know him better. He and I shall get along.
Zattare. I haven no words for him. Clever and stupid. I cannot trust this human. He sees and knows, but refuses to admit it. There’s something under his depths, but he either does not want it revealed or does not want to inhabit it. I’m not sure I respect him, even. Not like Labrae, who showed skill and courage. She I will need to speak with more as well - fascinating thing she is.
Direfen received her gift. I do not think she receives many of them. As I guessed, she did not at first desire to accept it. Too modest, and humble, to know a token of good will. Yet I hope it will give her some measure of peace. That it shows her I am not repulsed. Her strength is solid, a pillar that I find reassuring in all the madness that I’ve indulged myself in as of late.
Finally, Aurael. Sweet and kind, but he acts so young. I know I said it before, it simply surprises me. How very different he is in philosophy and tactic. I am glad that he was the one who ended up looking after me. Sharing a camp fire with a brother, particularly of his good nature, is a cheer. It makes the bad moments less, and the good moments brighter. I don’t think I have laughed so much lately. There is a magic in his smile that I am not sure he’s aware of, something that will heal more than his spells. Gentle child, I will need to protect him at whatever end. He is a symbol of what the Kaldorei must become.
Now I must rest. I am exhausted, and my nausea makes it so difficult to focus. I can feel the nightmares brewing in the back of my mind, as well. I will need what little strength there can be found to record them. I refuse to let this darkness best me like it did during the meeting. Elune forgive me.

|#SSGBLOG| Sneaker Situation - feat. @InspireTheBrand - #menswear
Men have been wearing sneakers in a much more formal setting these days, actually with formal attire. Is it acceptable? Well technically no, but when you’re against thousands of popular street style photos with guys wearing suits and sneakers and looking bad a** anything else is truly an opinion. If you saw my last post on formal dressingyou know that I take some tradition and ‘rules’ to a…
