i dont often watch anime (it's draining for me to watch shit) but my very first exposure to manga was a lone issue of shonen jump that my cousin left at my house and i thought it was the coolest goddamn thing but it never occurred to me that i could look for more on the subject. the first manga i sought out and read all the way through was parasyte when i was like 15 because i saw it linked from the body horror page on tvtropes and thought it looked interesting
parasyte was so cool and I was happy it got an anime. I’m not that great with body horror stuff but that was awesome
