(Public is fine) Molly, Mile Magnificent came up on my Spotify a few weeks ago and I was like "who is this angel with the dreamy molasses voice" and the shock when I realized it was you, well. It's just a funny little jolt every time I hear it on my writing playlist, because that is a person I've spoken to, who is part of my reality, who's funny and kind and vulnerable and brave, and it just makes me smile every time. Thank you for existing.
ahh gosh. thanks babe. if i were do redo it i would make myself one of those singers who has a band name even though they’re only one person and i would be called Dreamy Molasses. imagine how good it would be to make everyone call me “dreamy” in interviews (i’ve given exactly 1 interview).
Do you like reading? Do you like hockey? Do you like gay romance? Well, have I got the thing for you!

That there link takes you to the most wonderful queer hockey romance novels I have ever had the pleasure to read. Under this read more are my reviews for four of them (I haven’t read the fifth yet!), and I will preface them by saying I adored them all!
Blindside Hit
If you’re looking for an incredible queer romance, look no further!
A beautiful story exploring thoughts and emotions and fears which are prevalent in many people’s brains. The way Michaela approaches the ups and downs of both emotions and relationships is beautiful. I cannot recommend this book enough. I fell in love with Etienne, who is very relatable, immediately, and then again with Adam, who’s a sweetheart, not long after. The angst throughout this story hits you perfectly in the chest, and often throughout my reading I found myself fighting against reading ahead, desperate to know how things would turn out.
The sex was hot, the emotions heart-wrenching and the characters believable and often extremely loveable. I will no doubt be re-reading this book for many years to come.
Roughing
This book hit me right in the emotions. Saint is such an incredible, nuanced character, and as someone with anxiety I found him incredibly relatable. The development of the dynamic between Saint and Carmine had me holding my breath at times, and I loved the fact that (without spoiling too much) it wasn’t all smooth sailing, in fact the seas were rather rough. Once again, I fully recommend this book, and the others in Michaela’s hockey romance series. They are so worth it!
Also, Kasha is my son now, I am adopting him.
Power play
All I wanted to do throughout reading this book was give Gunner a big cuddle. Another beautiful, emotional story from an incredible author. The characterisation is fantastic, and I simply adore Michaela’s writing style. I have never read a book about (spoiler!!!) a man suddenly becoming a single father like this, and as I’m not a huge fan of kids in real life, I was apprehensive that I wouldn’t enjoy the storyline, but let me tell you in no uncertain terms, I absolutely loved the plot! I also loved the child, Olivia.
Possibly my favourite thing about this book, however, is the way that Gunner’s past mistakes and experiences shape him and affect his relationships. Please, buy this book! It’s an incredible read, well worth it!
Odd man rush
I read this book in one sitting. And by that, I mean I sat down to start reading and simply couldn’t move until I finished. I thought this was such a beautiful exploration of various sexualities and relationships. I have already read it again, and I think Eli is possibly my favourite of all of Michaela’s characters. I genuinely cannot recommend Michaela’s books enough. As soon as I started reading I was hooked and couldn’t put them down.

Writing prompt because I would absolutely love more pwp from you and I'm not ashamed to admit it. How about Joe/Nicky, after a thousand years Joe can still make Nicky blush, orrr a competence kink for either of them? OR one of them gets really loud during sex and has to be kept quiet because they might endanger the mission but they can't keep their hands off each other? Okay I'm done for now I think
Hi! :D just so you don’t think I ignored you lol, in true “me” fashion your prompt kickstarted something that 1) is not quite what you requested and 2) quickly became too unwieldy for the Tumblr box, so I’m working on that! But here, have a little sneak peek:
Joe’s cries are getting higher, sounding almost like he’s scared, the way he gets sometimes when Nicky hasn’t been inside him in a while; raw, frantic, bordering on panicked. He will squirm aimlessly, like he’s trying to get away from his pleasure, like he thinks his release will hurt him.
“Ah, love, it’s so much,” he’d moaned, when Nicky had asked tentatively if Joe was okay, if he wanted to stop. “At times it feels like I will shatter. Keep going.” He had drawn Nicky down to kiss him and bucked his hips, and Nicky had trusted that Joe would tell him the truth in this as he did in everything else, and started moving again.
(Yes, it’s definitely another pwp :p) Thanks for the prompts!! <3
