Here is my man, Griin! He is made out of plastic and filled with a mysterious past! He also can’t talk but that’s a discussion for another day :)

So these are the Architechs together! They all met in really weird circumstances and with that weird bond they like to hang out a lot!

A few questions that I have is, should I try colouring? I wanna try but like it always looks bad :)

In your toy AU, Iskall and Mumbo are both bigger than Grian, but they’re made of relatively light material. Can Grian lift them?

Yes he can! He is basically made of the same material as that one Sasuke figurine that blew up in Tumblr (idk how long ago tho)

Oo how did the architechs meet? And how does the Gman communicate with his fellow architechs? Aa this au is so interestin im reeee

Sorry for the long reply, didn’t see this for some reason,,,,

The architoys (heh) boys started off with Mumbo and iskall! Mumbo has always been around, wondering about the attic in boredom when,,,

As for Grian, well,,,

Few months later;

“They were eerily quiet when I first met them, never said a word, never really reacted to anything. I sort of helped Iskall with that, with Grian tho, I’m still working it out...” - Mumbo

As for how Grian communicates to others, he mostly through gestures and charades, he will draw if anything is too complicated to play out. He never writes though, no matter how much Mumbo tries to get him to write something or how many times Iskall tries to teach him words....

ArchiToys Headcanons

(Haha get it? ArchiToys, ArchTechs- ye I’m gonna stop that rn)

Grian

• Might be mute but easily the most expressive out of the ArchiToys

•doesn’t use a writing board to communicate (he don’t want to carry around a board, that be tiring)

•instead he has a little antenna thing on top of his head that show his mood (if you see the past art drawings you will see it! Think Sandman from the Rise of the Guardians)

•He is a hoarder and has really bad management of it, has the most craziest and weirdest items that he has collected

•Lives in a toy blender from a kitchen set (looks exactly like Grian’s Base first layer)

•doesn’t know that he can’t talk to humans so the others have to physically keep him away from human beings (think buzz lightyear, buzz didn’t know he was a toy either in the first movie)

•has the ability to teleport items

Iskall

•Dainty and pretty, the most graceful out of the three ArchiToys

•has a fake gem as an eye as his popped off during an accident as the eye was never found again that wasn’t the only thing that happened when the accident occurred tho

•Lives in a broken fridge that has a hole dug out in the back, gets a little chilly there sometimes

•can turn his torso in a 360 angle (actually majority of his body is like that)

•is the brain of the ArchiToys cause the other two are dramatic problematic bois (not like he ain’t have a dramatic and sad life but that’s another topic for another day :D)

• havent thought of an ability for him,,, thoughts?

Mumbo Jumbo

• Grian might be like the dramatic gremlin, but Mumbo’s the dramatic theatre kid (imagine Mumbo as a diva and yeah, that’s Mumbo in this au XD)

•If he had nails he would paint them black for aesthetics

•actually has a little bit of feral energy?? Can’t explain it, but he does

•acts happy to hide years of abandonment issues :)

•very supportive baby uwu

•has a feathered scarf fite me

•used to have a tuxedo but then his owner lost it

•can control any string

*all looks at you in shock*

Mumbo: VISITORS?????

Iskall: HOW DID YOU GET IN??

Idea for the masks: a combination of your second and third ideas. Grian is able to pull his masks from a hammerspace that no one is able to figure out. Every mask he pulls out is scattered somewhere in his base when they visit. No one can figure out how or where he gets them

All the random objects he gets are actually all in his pile of junk,, (then there are times when this ability goes wonky and he accidentally grabs something outside his pile, like let’s say the neighbors cat XD)
