Season 2 finale for Big Hero 6: The Series. It was okay. I liked aspects of it but eh... overall it was okay. Not really sure if I’ll tune in for a season 3 but who knows.

Regardless, I’ll still make fanart and I have plans for my side blog Another Angle, just need to get the ball rolling. (And with Season 2 complete that means doing rewrites won’t be too difficult because I can see the whole picture now,)

For now, an Obake doodle of him in his appearance post Grid Ghost reacting to some of the stuff that happened in the finale. (Those who watched know what exactly he’s reacting to.)

I’m not sure how people see me.

I’m either the kid who blew himself up and was left behind to be forgotten or the man that was bent on destroying everything in an attempt to be remembered.

I won’t deny... I’m a ghost of who I used to be.

But I don’t want to be seen as such.

I just want to be seen as me

Not for who I was before but for who I am now.

The man who wants to make everything right.

“It’s okay I have everything under-GAH! GET OFF MY BOOTS!”

And this is why Tadashi and Obake wouldn’t have been much help during “Something Fluffy”. 

Tadashi is all warm (he runs warmer than average) so the Mayoi are gonna go nuts for that and Obake can get on the same electronic frequency the Mayoi are on with his techonkinesis they just don’t like listening to him. Instead, they cuddle and share their thoughts.

“O___O You do not want to know their deep dark secrets.”

Also, the Mayoi stole their helmets so... that’s a problem.

Just dabbling to see if I could emulate the chibi series style. I think I pulled it off pretty well.

RIP Phoenix and Grid Ghost though.

“Oh, Daddy! It’s really you!” She cried out, burying her face into his shoulder.

Obake hugged her as tightly as he could, running his hand through her hair.

“Trina…”

She really is alive… My dear daughter…

He took in everything he could from this moment. Her warmth, the softness of her hair, the tenderness of her embrace… He had forgotten what this actually felt like. He had moments with the bot version of his daughter but… nothing could ever replace what he was feeling right now.

Obake rested his head against hers, sighing happily.

“I’m home…”

Trina nodded, nuzzling him.

“You are… You really are.”
