Family Outing

The makeshift dragon family decided to spend the day in the forest after fighting in many consecutive battles. While Grima slept, Fae decided to shower him with flowers, which woke him up.

“There are better places to take a nap than on the ground, you know,” mocked Idunn. Grima only glared at the both of them.

This is a piece I did for the Artist of Askr’s Divine Dragon zine! It’s a zine that showcases the dragons of Fire Emblem, so I took this chance to draw a dragon ship that grew on me because of Heroes!!

When Grima was introduced in the game as a green dragon, Fae was no longer alone in that weapon type and the fans naturally started to make content of them together, portraying them having a father-daughter relationship. Then Idunn was introduced, to which I found out was someone longtime-fans saw as having a mother-daughter relationship with Fae. And with that Voting Gauntlet with Grima vs Idunn in the final round, it made me think of them two fighting for custody over Fae XD And thus sealed my fate as a Gridunn fan
