Okay, the Dodger and Warren scene wasn’t as bad as I was expecting it to be, at least. But Warren did just kind of land himself in it about Griff 👀 (I also don’t want to say it, but the more times Griff is mentioned, the more I feel like I should bump the Griff is Alive AU up to priority… 💀)

I'll take a shot. Griff is actually the smartest criminal of the group. He woke up in the tarp. Went out and found a random bloke, beat him to death, swapped clothes with him, wrapped him in the tarp, and left his phone there.

That honestly seems like the most plausible scenario, anon (aside from Griff actually being the smartest, but that would be hilarious 😭)

Yeah I have a strong feeling Griff might not be 100% dead 😭

I'm not sure how that would make much sense given there was a body and his phone was there but well, it's hollyoaks.

I imagine if he did turn up dodger would probably think he was just imagining things

There have been too many red flags - Dodger saying that Donny had "buried it alive" (in regards to his assault), Dodger telling Sienna he was dead and that "it's all over", and now the references to it between Dodger and Warren?? Nah, I'm afraid 😭

It would make zero sense, but so does everything else in Hollyoaks. I can definitely see Dodger thinking he was having some kind of mental breakdown (especially if anything happens between now and then that could lead him to think his mind was tricking him - I just immediately thought about a potential depression storyline leading to hallucinations, and then, like Cleo, he starts questioning what's real and what isn't, and that's just the perfect time for Griff to come back to life, isn't it?). Yeah, I can see Griff popping back up 😭

This might be a bit crazy but hear me out: he’s being framed for Griff’s murder. We know that Sully knows Donny killed him, and we haven’t really seen him do much about that information in a while. Sully doesn’t have much reason to go after Donny right now, but he is pissed that Dodger arrested him in the first place. I don’t know how that could possibly even happen, but if they want to address his murder again this would be their last shot before Sully exits for good.

You could be onto something, anon. It sounds just crazy enough for it to be something Hollyoaks would pull lol

Griff being dead must be so complicated for Dodger. On one hand, he can't hurt Dodger anymore. Or anyone else. But because he's dead, Dodger can't confront him over what he did. Dodger can't get justice and closure for himself.

Genuinely, it makes an already difficult situation so much harder for him. He deserved to at least have the option for justice.
