OKAY SO: The show centers around a young woman who went missing seven years ago and follows her journey after she reappears. As the show goes on, the mystery of what occurred in her life that led to her disappearance and what happened during those seven (missing) years begins to reveal itself. And there are horrific and beautiful details that she carefully reveals to a misfit band of characters. The characters are all genuinely complex and their arcs are even more so. I also just want to note the score in this show, because it is so. beautiful. I have gotten so many chills while watching.I started watching it knowing… literally nothing about it (I’d seen a few gifsets on tumblr, that’s it) so I want to leave you with the least amount of information possible that you haven’t already seen on my blog because it’s really just so good to take in with an air of mystery. This show snuck up on me. I adore it. If you decide to watch it, I hope you do too!
