EB: well, if you do not have any objection... EB: maybe later, i will drop by your planet again and rescue you, thus breaking the spooky spell put on you by your nefarious, shadowy masters. TT: Swoon! EB: that way you will stop being so grimdark and ominous, and basically completely off the deep end in every way, as is now painfully obvious to anyone with a brain. TT: I will do by best to occupy myself as benignly and unmagically as possible until you show up.

I enjoyed that little exchange with John pretending to teach Rose about how to smile and laugh, and I like to imagine Rose being an Elder God locked in human form, and John teaches her the joys of smiling and human emotions.

John will give Rose a true love’s kiss to break her curse, but unlike most stories where the tenebrous shrouds will go away, he ends up freeing her of her human bonds, and reveals her true self as an Eldritch god from the void, and then they get to explore the depths of the cosmos together.

Last Chapter’s finally up! I know it took me a while but it’s finally done. Only reason I didn’t post it on Sunday was because it got really long.

let’s end johnrose week with a bang! this is an au inspired by icarus and the sun. some more stuff about it under the cut (warning: i am not a good writer so i apologize in advance)

     Rose is the goddess of the sun, banished to Earth because she was revealed to be in contact with evil deities. Her godly powers and privileges have been taken, and all she can do is maintain the flames in her hair and emit a weak glow. John is the god of the wind, and he often travels around the world through air currents. 

    As he was travelling, he saw Rose and was surprised by her state, and he tried to help. However, John quickly learned that the strong winds constantly present around him can blow out Rose’s flames and warmth, and along with those her power. They can only communicate with each other through the wind, which carries their messages back and forth. The only times they can see each other is whenever John passes by wherever she is as he travels.
