I do think you need to remind him to take care of himself once his work really, really gets to that point. He can cook, we knows this, but sometimes he's too comfortable living off of unhealthy things. Take care of him when he needs it, please.

If you're wesen, he will absolutely ask you questions. It's not that he's looking at you like a test subject, but he doesn't ALWAYS want to bother Monroe and Rosalee about it.

But if you're human? Then I'm going the whole Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen, route. He can't be with a human that doesn't know. Too stressful.

Anyways, the two of you don't really go on normal dates anymore? I mean, there's like, little diner outings late at night, but it's not really like, normal. And your conversation topics aren't normal either. But it's good that way!

I feel the two of you kinda become home bodies, and that's the most normal thing you two do together. Like, he enjoys spending a night in, some takeout, and he enjoying movies or a good tv show with you.

He's got a slight sweet tooth! Please give him some chocolate, preferably German as Monroe indoctrinated him to that being the best kind.

You'll often be talking with Rosalee and Monroe. They're great friends! Sometimes, you'll have double dates with them.

Hank and Wu are also SUPER good friends of yours.

Everyone's kinda in the know with each other.

You need to be stable and reliable. With his world constantly changing and new things arising, he needs the stability.

I think physical touch spooks him after Juliette, but he's not mad at you wrapping your arms around his waist and just,,, remaining there.

I think, out of everything, you two need to take care of each other. He'll trust you more than anyone else. Take care of him.

Trubel

Here are my personal headcanons about the Wonderful Trubel, in no particular order.

Asexual lesbian

Aunt of all of the kids

Drives a motorcycle as her primary vehicle

Adopts any homeless kids she sees, teaches them how to survive, wesen or not, she doesn't care.

Taught Diana and Kelly and the triplets to ride a motorcycle, in that order

Keeps in contact with Josh Porter, who ends up with a non binary wesen and raising 2 kids, a wesen and a Grimm, moves to Portland, and reconnects with everyone.

Keeps in contact with Clay Pittman, the boxer she helped out that one time when Nick wasn't a Grimm.

Designated babysitter to Everyone, that girl is great with kids.

Sometime after the end but before the 20 years later, she travels and hunts down the remaining Grimms, texting Nick updates to add to the books. She tells them what she does, what Nick does, and urges them to join in the whole "not senselessly murdering wesen" Thing.

Once she has tracked down every Grimm, she comes home, where she is welcomed by everyone.

The kids grow up calling her "Aunt Trubel" Or "Auntie Trubel" Depending on how old they are.

Diana's first bad day at school Aunt Trubel shows up on her kickass motorcycle and let's Diana sit up front.

Gives the best presents

Probably also proposes getting just one giant house with a bunch of rooms for everyone to live in, with enough rooms for her adopted homeless kids

Nick makes her get her GED and take online classes (before she goes and tracks down the Grimms) not necessarily to get a degree but to give her something to work with, in case she ever settles down and gets a job. Because we all know she never finished school.

She steals and wears everyone's clothes. Nick's, Monroe's, Adalind's, Eve's, Rosalee's, Hank's, Wu's, everyone except Renard because she'll never forgive him for killing Meisner.

Getting a Christmas Tree with Nick

When Nick goes all in for the holidays after being in a relationship with you, he goes BIG

And part of that is wanting to get a live Christmas tree with you! You barely mention it and he is UP ready to go to the farm.

He's got cheesy Christmas music on the entire drive.

I guarantee you the entire night he's been researching how to take care of it, the best to choose, he's trying to become an expert in this topic and he shares every tidbit of information he learns with you.

It's really fun to walk the rows looking for a tree. He holds your hand and then excitedly points at the trees to find the best one for your house.

I think,,, the two of you create a tradition of getting a comically big tree.

Like, yeah, big tree! How does it fit?? Christmas magic but now it's in your living room!!

The two of you have to name your tree. The tree has lore in your household as to how it got there and everything.

The two of you make ornaments together because that's really cute.

You guys really, really like the scent of the tree tbh.

He takes such good care of that tree.

I feel he might also end up collecting the needles it drops. He likes having them around and dates them by year. He's sometimes very sentimental. They might go in clear ornaments so the two of you can look back on previous years memories.

After the first time, the minute it hits like, a few days before Thanksgiving?? He's going on about getting one. He'd actually like to try to get one the weekend of Thanksgiving or the first week of December. He tries to make it last a few days after New Years as well.

Spoilers for the Grimm Finale

You've been warned.

These are my thoughts on the end, including questions, and headcanons.

I seriously cried. Like 100% CRIED when everyone was dying, but, from my earlier times watching the series, I had already googled their fandom wikis to see if they died at any point and the wikis said they were alive, so I knew they'd survive EVENTUALLY. I knew they'd come back.

That didn't stop me from crying. ESPECIALLY with Rosalee and Monroe, when Rosalee smiled at Monroe and he was trying to sob and then Nick came over and held Monroe's hand as he died and that SCREAM oh my GOD.

Thank GOD for Mama and Auntie Burkhardt/Kessler because Lord knows Nick is 100% ready to sacrifice the world for his family.

When everything was fixed and Nick was hugging everybody and he said "—what it felt like to lose everyone I've ever loved—my family—" When I tell you I BALLED MY EYES OUT.

Diana is the BEST character ever, and the fact that she remembered and told Eve "you're a hexenbeist again" And Eve's reaction of "... Again???" And Diana looks at Nick and she smiles "he's gone. He didn't come through. He's dead" Or whatever she said and Nick just crouches down and hugs her.

When he hugs Hank and Wu I'm pretty sure that's the ONLY time we see him hug them (or anyone except for Rosalee, Juliette, Adalind, Trubel, and Monroe), which just shows how much they meant to him and how he officially said "fuck you" To not expressing how much his friends mean to him, because you KNOW watching them all die made him regret ever not telling them how much he loves them and not appreciating them while they were there, so you KNOW Nick was telling them "I love you" Every chance he got after that, and no one was complaining.

To the epilogue thing: was the entire story just Kelly writing down his father's history? And Diana said "mom and dad are waiting for us" Does that mean she calls Nick "dad"? Or does Kelly call Renard "dad"? Or both?

The TRIPLETSSSSS??? It's canon that they all grew up to be Friends??? Do Diana and Kelly call Monroe and Rosalee "aunt and uncle"? Do they consider themselves cousins? Do Wu and Hank have kids that they also grew up with? Is "aunt Trubel" A thing?

What about Bud? Did he and his family just pack up and leave Portland? Why don't we ever see his family or his kids (unless those kids in s1 that were spying on Nick were his kids)? Do his kids and him and his wife have a place in their life?

What if the next generation, not just the main kids, but the next generation of all wesen in Portland and other places, they all grew up with the legacy of the Good Grimm and his Wesen Family? Less fearful tales to run or kill Grimms, less about their horrifying eyes and blades, more about "when I was a teenager the Good Grimm saved my life" Or "don't run or attack when you see a Grimm, dip your head and they will spare you" Or "I grew up with tales of Grimms, that they'd kill me. The one I met killed my old life and gave me a new one." Just GOD I could go on and on.

The cheeky little grab of the Staff from Kelly, they grew up to be normal siblings with abnormal circumstances. I LOVE IT.

Diana still has her full power, but can she woge? She never needed to woge before, and not all hexenbeists need to woge to use their power, but due to the circumstances surrounding her birth, can she woge? And at that, she's a Princess, the only living descendant from the throne aside from Renard, that we know of. Did Renard take the throne? It was never said what happened to Vienna after the king died.

Also, can we talk about how shitty the Black Claw plot line was wrapped up? I understand that NBC cancelled the show and they had to jump to the end when the show easily could've gotten at least the full last season instead of the 13 episodes it was given. If they had been able to have a full last season it could've been wrapped up nicely. With a bigger show down than the Nick vs Renard fight, and a bigger wrap up than "yea Black Claw's been wiped out" With absolutely no explanation as to how.

What ever happened with those kids from the Peter Pan episode? We should've gotten something because I'm pretty sure they were being recruited to Black Claw or SOMETHING. And we never get answers.

What ever happened to Zuri? Like did Eve kill her trying to get information from her? Did Black Claw put her out of her deaf, blind, and mute misery? It was never explained.

I honestly wish we got a full season because even if it did wrap a little early we should've gotten some cute domestic scenes and a montage of the kids growing up? Like I would've been content if the series officially ended with 21 episodes and the last one could've been like an entire montage of like Kelly's first birthday, the birth of the triplets, Diana's first woge, the triplets first birthday, Kelly becoming a Grimm or whatever he ends up being, Adalind and Nick's wedding, Wu and Hank settling down with someone (or each other), Renard's mother finally meeting her granddaughter, fucking JOSH PORTER showing up as either a Grimm or a Grimm child and almost no idea how to go about raising the child, buying and fixing up the new trailer, their first day at school, telling the children that they can't tell anyone and that Diana can't make things float, Nick teaching them how to defend themselves, Nick learning how to use the Staff, Bud and finally meeting his wife and kids, etc. And then the 20 years later bit.

So I think it's safe to say I'm going to be writing a lot of one shots or just a whole fucking book. Lmk if you want tagged!

Grimm Halloween Headcanon

Its always, always hosted at Monroe & Rosalee’s.

Always. Non-negotiable.

Also, Adalind is a huge Halloween fan. Even Nick annoys her with his atrocious puns. (Like the post-it note on a brand new thing of coffee with “the witch needs her brew” or handing her a broom instead of her car keys). Wu may or may not help with Nick’s never ending supply.

Adalind gets even though. *devil emoji*

See, Nick is a spoil sport and never, ever dresses up for Halloween despite everyone’s insistence. He shows up in his usual attire next to Adalind who is dolled up head to toe (first year was a mother-daughter witch pair; the next was Tinker Bell + Diana was Wonder Woman; the next - a flapper alongside a very dapper young ganster Kelly); Nick is usually just there to maintain order amongst the little ones since as the non-dressed up guest, he’s the designated parent treat-or-treater. He takes his ‘punishment’ happily and makes sure they all get the most candy. (Honestly, he prefers to, because of well, cop + grimm instincts...)

Meanwhile, the women (Rosalee, Adalind, Eve, hell, even Bud’s wife, too, Phoebe)  drink copious amounts of wine, eat bunch of desserts, and reminisce on the day’s shenanigans. Nick usually comes home to a very musical kitchen (all of them boasting old tunes totally off key) and finds refuge with the rest on the deck serving out candy and drinking beer.

One Halloween though, Adalind finally evens the score.

See, she dressed up as Nick; Flattering jeans, dark jacket + shirt combo, and then - the perfect touch - a plastic gun and his actual badge. She even perfected the “Portland PD, can I ask you a few question?” pitch; He was not as amused as Rosalee or Monroe when they opened the door. (”Adalind, impersonating an officer is a federal crime.” “Then arrest me.” “You have my cuffs!” “We’ll have to use them later then.” “Adalind...”)

Oh no, there’s more. Adalind couldn’t resist. She had to make it a family theme. In comes Kelly dressed head to toe in a very large black cape and scythe - and when asked - happily announced he “was just like daddy”. The women lose it, Adalind clapping along with the fits while Rosalee is wheezing (alongside Monroe hollering).

Nick is exasperated and begs for an exit but nope - in comes Diana after Sean drops her off - dressed in same fashion as her brother.

“Its adorable,” Adalind squeals.

“Can I go now?” Nick pleads. He’s joined by the tripletts - Freddy dressed like old school flannel Wolfman (Rosalee and Adalind may have conspired together); Alyssa dressed like a witch inspired by her favorite auntie; and Hap wearing a fox onsie.

“Yeah! We need to go before the candy runs out!” Alyssa whines. Diana nods hastily, tugging Nick’s hand towards the entryway.

“Fine,” they relent after Adalind snickers over her new phone background. (’Delete that,’ Nick mouthes. Adalind smirks, ‘never’.) She sends it halfway through the night - captioned “the three little grimms *wink emoji*” He replies with another, a picture he took of her before they left home mocking his pose, “make that four”. )

Nick comes back an hour later with the gaggle of kids. They all start sorting their candy in the main room, occasionally donating a bite sized bar to their parents per request. (”Hey, how come you get a snickers?” “Because I asked?” “Want to trade?” “No, I hate licorice.” “Please?” “Go ask Alyssa - she has some - Hey! No! That was my snickers! Nick!” “Consider this your penalty for impersonating an officer.” “Screw you!” “We will see about that later - speaking about cuffs...” “We’ll negotiate later” “I need those back, Adalind!” “You will later tonight! They are essential to my costume!”)

Halloween is a favorite for Nick even though he doesn’t dress up, partly because Kelly and Diana stay the night with the tripletts; He gets one-on-one time with Adalind for the night - which usually results in gorging on popcorn and critiquing really bad horror movies (she rarely gets scared) which may or may lead to other stuff....
