Haven't been able to art so instead I'm thinking up Grimm concepts:
A noodle bat-ferret that pulls people into trees, making them look like hanging trees or gallows (I even have a name for this funky lil fella already, a Nesuferit... Ya know like Nosferatu... And it sounds like noose-ferret in my brain... eh?)
A tick Grimm that engorges itself on aura and explodes once it gets too big (I lovingly call these lil guys Tickers)
A literal lion-fish Grimm that fills its 'mane' with water to use as a pressurized beam on both water and land
A dilophosaurus like Grimm that follows storms and can shoot lightning with its frills (I'm calling this one a Weatherill ^_^)
A Leviathan sized turtle Grimm that's always surrounded by mists so no one's sure it really exists but there's smaller giant versions that fuck up ships so who's to say if those sailor's tales are real or not
A freaky little thorny lizard that can shoot its own blood from its eyes and can puff up like a pufferfish (okay this is just a horned lizard but grimmified)
Little shades that hide in dark spaces. A common fear for children is the grimm hiding under the bed, or in the closet, or in the attic. They're cousins of the Chill Grimm
A hummingbird Grimm that confuses those that hear its wing beats and can pierce flesh with its needle-like beak
A will-o-wisp angler type Grimm that echoes the voices of those it has killed to lure in curious people (bird-like perhaps?)
A fuckin duo of a trapdoor spider grimm and a froggy Grimm that ambush you from the ground
A wormy parasitic Grimm that burrows into anything decaying (flesh, wood, crops, etc) and essentially face hugs those who get too close
Flurries and swarms of butterfly Grimm that shred anything in their path, a la death by 1000 cuts style
Freaky ass floral Grimm which has caused other normal flora to look more grimmy to ward off predators so now it's just common knowledge to stay away from any black white and red flora because who knows if that wild carrot will try to eat you back
And in that same vein and to bring it back around
Grimm Ents! Not geists that are possessing trees, but actual Grimm trees. They look like birch trees with freaky lil eyes everywhere and they move slowly toward civilization. They'd be seen around with Nesuferite Grimm :)
If Grimm rivers and flying whale Grimm and plant-like nightmare Grimm can exist, I think a freaky little eyeball tree can exist (plus I think at least one other person has had the idea at some point lol)
