The Juniper Tree and Gambling Hans inspirational pictures. The picture of the masked faces I thought of Gambling Hans because your personality is being masked by the addiction, there is also a sense of hiding behind a face and one you may not realise you are hiding from. I wasn't able to create a scene from this picture but it is something to think about when rehearsing. The rose is interesting I find it relates really well to the song I have created for the bird in The Juniper Tree, the song is very pretty but somewhat eerie, I feel the way the song flows reminds me of falling tears, the red in the picture can represent blood, blood falling is death or injury, a sense of being lost maybe which are all apt for the piece. From this I was able to picture a scene maybe for the bird scene where the whole company are entwined round each other creative a cone shape and one by one each person falls in slow motion until the end of the song when the bird is revealed.
